Geneva Software Technologies on Tuesday launched Geneva E2C, the world’s first-of-its-kind tool that allows upto 1 lakh text messages (SMS) to be sent in an hour from a PC to mobile is 11 different languages including Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati and Tamil among others.
The software will cost Rs. 7,699 where 10,000 messages are free with a recharge facility to the enterprise. The companies can recharge with Rs. 50 for 100 messages and with Rs. 25, 000 for 1, 00,000 messages.
Says TM Krishna Reddy, MD of the company, “We are already providing this facility to Reliance and Tata AIG, and we are in talks with enterprises like Pantaloon, Birla Sun Life among others. For the messaging services, we have tied up with BSNL, MTNL and are aggressive talks with Idea, Spice and Vodafone as well.”
CDMA phones at present do not support this service. However, the company is talking to service providers like Reliance and Tata and expects to finalise a deal within 3-4 months.
“This industry has a potential of Rs. 728 crore and we are targeting 15% of the same by the end,” Reddy adds. |
